Unframed is a chic little icecream shop on Kloof Street. It’s clean design stands out and leaves all your focus on their creative ice creams.
They offer both dairy and vegan options; their dairy and cream are sourced from local farms in France and the nut milks are from the local @almondcreamery.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we don’t really know where our food is coming from. It’s refreshing to be able to get something as simple as a scoop of ice cream and know that it’s made with products proceeded in a humane way.
Not to mention their icecream is absolutely delicious. I got the vegan green tea, a flavor I haven’t had a chance to try since being in Japan and ended up finding it better than the Japanese version! Unframed is constantly coming up with new and exciting flavors and they even work with Stephane Auge, a highly recognized creator in the realm of ice cream, to constantly create even better products. Who would have thought that beetroot chocolate and tumiric latte ice cream would be so amazing?

To sum it up Unframed is an inspiring example of conscious ice cream shop and defiantly worth checking out if your in Cape Town:)
